Our Mission
May Flowers: The Taylor George Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the life and the legacy of Taylor Olivia George. The foundation was organized to provide education about May Thurner Syndrome as well as provide financial support to families with children in critical care units across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex
About Taylor
Taylor Olivia George was a fighter since the day she was born prematurely at 26 weeks gestation weighing 1lb 1oz. Taylor overcame many obstacles in her life despite being born prematurely. Taylor was known for her sweet spirit that showed nothing but love to everyone she encountered. In the spring of 2022 Taylor developed a blood clot in her leg that is now believed to be as a result of an undiagnosed condition known as May Thurner syndrome. After undergoing surgery to remove the blood clot in her leg Taylor developed a pulmonary embolism that placed her in critical condition. Following days in the ICU at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas on a heart lung bypass machine Taylor developed some bleeding in her brain. Despite undergoing surgery to alleviate the brain bleed Taylor developed further complications. Taylor Olivia George went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2022 at the young age of 13.

May Flowers: The Taylor George Foundation provides the following services throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
Care Packages
Having a child in the hospital can be very stressful. May Flowers utilizes a portion of its funds to provide care packages to families with children in critical condition in the pediatric intensive care unit at Children's Medical Center Dallas, Texas. The care packages include toiletries, snacks, power banks and much more. The foundation also provides care packages for siblings as well.
Burial Fund
Experiencing the loss of a child can be devastating. May Flowers aims to reduce some of the stress that comes along with it by assisting with burial expenses if in the event a family loses a child.
Read and Grow
Taylor was a huge reader, she always had a book in her hand! In order to foster the love of reading to others the foundation uses some of its proceeds for book donation. May Flowers currently donates books to reading libraries at schools throughout the DFW metroplex.
